Options we may use

Which ones you qualify for depends on your income, expenses, assets and balance. We'll tell you honestly.

Payment planAffordable monthly payments. Plans for $50,000 or less are usually the simplest to set up.
Currently not collectibleIf paying anything would leave you unable to cover basic expenses, the IRS can pause collection.
Offer in compromiseSettling for less than you owe, when the numbers show the IRS can't reasonably collect the full amount.
Partial-pay planMonthly payments you can afford, even if they won't pay off the balance before the IRS's collection deadline.
Penalty reliefRemoving penalties, and the interest on them, when you qualify. Learn more.

What it costs

  • The consultation is free, with no obligation.
  • One flat fee, agreed in writing before any paid work starts.
  • No surprise invoices, and you never pay the IRS through us.

Every case is different, so we don't guarantee a specific result or amount of savings. We'll tell you what's realistic before you pay us anything.

Common questions

Can you get my tax debt reduced?

Sometimes. An offer in compromise can settle a debt for less, but only when your finances show the IRS can't reasonably collect the full amount. Penalty relief can also lower the balance. We'll tell you upfront whether either is realistic for you.

Will the IRS keep collecting while you work on my case?

Once we're representing you, we can often ask the IRS for a temporary hold on collection while we put a resolution together.

How long does it take?

A simple payment plan can be in place within days. An offer in compromise can take several months for the IRS to review. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the start.
