Haven't filed in years? Let's get you caught up.

One missed year turns into two, then five. It happens more than you'd think, and it's fixable. We find out what the IRS has on file, prepare every missing return, and help you resolve whatever is owed.

Sound familiar?

How we fix it

  1. 1

We see what the IRS sees

With your authorization, we pull your IRS income records for each missing year, so you don't need every old document.

You: e-sign the authorization and tell us what you remember.

  2. 2

    We prepare the returns

We prepare each missing year with every deduction and credit you're entitled to, and replace any return the IRS filed for you.

You: answer a few questions and upload anything you have.

  3. 3

    We file and resolve

We file the returns and, if there's a balance, set up the most affordable resolution.

You: get back to filing normally, with the past behind you.

Good to know

You may not need every yearThe IRS generally asks for the last six years to bring you back into good standing. We'll confirm what's required in your case.
IRS-prepared returns can be replacedWhen the IRS files for you, it usually leaves out deductions. Filing your own return often lowers the balance.
Refunds have a time limitIf you're owed a refund, you generally have three years from the original due date to claim it.
Filing stops the biggest penaltyThe failure-to-file penalty grows fastest, so filing, even without paying, limits the damage.

What it costs

  • The consultation is free, with no obligation.
  • One flat fee, agreed in writing before any paid work starts.
  • No surprise invoices, and you never pay the IRS through us.

Your fee depends on how many years need to be filed and how complex they are. You'll know the full price before we start.

Common questions

Will I get in trouble for not filing?

In most cases, the IRS's goal is to get you back to filing and paying, and coming forward on your own puts you in a better position. If you're worried about something more serious, tell us at the start, because some situations also call for a tax attorney.

I don't have my old records. Can you still help?

Yes. The IRS keeps records of income reported by employers, banks and others. We pull those for each year and fill in the rest with you.

Do I have to file all the missing years at once?

Not always at once, but the IRS will generally want all required years filed before it agrees to a payment plan or other resolution.
